The audio of the film 'Kathi Kantha Rao' was launched at Hotel Dasapally, Hyderabad. Allu Arjun, Nani, Sharwanand, Varun Sandesh, Nikhil, Tanish, senior producer K.L.Narayana and Ambika Krishna attended the event. On the occasion film's director EVV Satyanarayana said. "Constable Kantha Rao is a smart guy who resolves tough problems with ease. His higher authorities are amazed by his talent." Such guy is involved in a love affair which should be watched only on the big screen." The producers of the film said: "Kathi Kantha Rao is based on a hilarious theme, which is crafted in such a way that the entire family could watch it and enjoy."
Kathi Kantha Rao is yet another comedy flick directed by EVV Satyanarayana. E Ravi Kumar, E Subramanyeswara Rao, E Srinivas Rao and E Poornachandra Rao have produced the film under the banner of 'Big B Production' house. Mallikarjun has composed the music for the film. Director E.V.V Satyanarayana son and Comedy star Allari Naresh playing the title role and "Kathi" is the surname of the hero in this movie. Beautiful Actress Kamna Jetmalani is the heroine of the film. Krishna Bhagawan, Ali, Venu Madhav, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, M.S.Narayana, L.B.Sriram, Kondavalasa, Raghu Babu, Jeeva, Uttej, Duvvasi Mohan, Kota Srinivasan Rao, etc. are also in the film.
Kathi Kantha Rao story revolves around a constable with four sisters and excess family problems. But how he overcomes his family problems by dominating the sub-inspector as well as other senior officials will be shown in a comic manner. Just like most of the EVV's films, 'Kathi Kantha Rao' is also given a variety tag line - 'Veedu Madatha Ethesthaadu.' The film is said to be a fun-filled comedy entertainer. One can also find a lot of emotions and sentiments in the climax part.
